Environment
The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce has a very active and involved committee focused on state and federal environmental issues. More than 200 environmental managers, specialists, attorneys and consultants serve on this committee. The committee regularly provides comments and advocates for environmental positions important to the economic well-being of business and industry in West Virginia.
Several times a year the committee hosts workshops and publishes the Green Piece publication. In addition, the West Virginia Chamber is the only state chamber that organizes a fly-in meeting with top officials of the U.S. EPA Region III.
