WORKFORCE West Virginia
WORKFORCE West Virginia is a cooperative effort to provide one-stop delivery of career services to job seekers, employers and other Interested Individuals. These services are also available in a local West Virginia Job Service office or the main WORKFORCE West Virginia Office. The state agency also is available to help employers upgrade employees skills to keep the workforce already in place.

Public-Private Services

Network Learning Alliance - The Network Learning Learning Alliance is a flexible on-line environment that provides formal training programs in the areas of federal contracting, information technology (IT) technical skills, and traditional human resource or soft skills.  The NLA is affiliated with the West Virginia High Technology Consortium.

Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing - The mission of RCBI is to "develop a quality, just-in-time supplier base for the Department of Defense (DoD) and the commercial sector" by providing statewide and regional access to advanced technology and technical training to small and medium sized companies.  To satisfy its mission, training and development needs are addressed through a series of technical, hands-on training courses and seminars delivered by qualified specialists. Technical courses including entry-level machinist skills and electrical wiring are offered to both individuals and companies. In addition, courses on quality certification, such as ISO 9001 are also available.

Private-Sector Training
